Lone Tree Honey is another side project of mine. We provide raw, unprocessed honey to customers all over the Red River Valley. This single page site design features a custom, "glowing honey" background and panels that slide under our logo as you scroll down. Although currently disabled due to the season, the site also integrates PayPal for orders.
Barry is both a speaker and author, who among other topics, speaks and writes about two major expeditions he undertook in his youth. With this in mind, I used a lot of textures and colors that speak to "adventure." Navigation is kept simple and allows visitors to easily learn about Barry's credentials, style, and topics. The sidebar also features testimonials and a bookstore.
This was a really fun project. The Diva Connection Foundation connects women who are able to give of time, talents, or treasure to women in need of those things in the Fargo/Moorhead area. The site features a classifieds format, front end ad creation and editing complete with image upload, membership functionality and custom designed page and post templates to make adminstration a snap.
This is a site I built for Knollbrook Covenant Church in Fargo, ND. One of our main design goals was visibility for the church - getting people in the door. To do that, I gave visitors a pretty comprehensive snapshot of the church right on the home page. Without even clicking a single link, you can see ministries, service schedules, events, get turn by turn directions and easily find contact info.
This is a site I did about one of my favorite subjects: home theater. Although the site is heavily customized for SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and click-ad revenues, its main focus is still to provide useful information to visitors. Ads shouldn't prevent you from finding what you actually came for, right?
